Anti-Biohacking with @Dr.Adrian.Chavez

Episode 84 | 14 June 2022

On this episode of the Alix Turoff Nutrition podcast, Alix sits down with Dr. Adrian Chavez to discuss the nutrition misinformation that’s all too prevalent on social media.

Adrian has a doctorate in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Arizona State University where his research focused on nutrition and lifestyle interventions for the prevention and management of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. After graduating with his PhD, Adrian continued to work in academic research and had plans to become a professor and researcher, but he was frustrated about the lack of impact that he was having in academia and decided to branch out online creating content, courses, and programs.

Over the last 6 years, Dr. Chavez has positively impacted thousands of people through his courses and programs and many more through the free education that he provides online via The Nutrition Science Podcast and his Instagram @Dr.Adrian.Chavez.

He is also very passionate about dispelling nutrition misinformation and helping provide greater access to quality nutrition education for the masses.
