Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Bites

This recipe is great for the Superbowl or just as a way to change up the way you top your salad! I made these in the air fryer but if you don’t have one, you can also bake them in the oven. If you’re using the oven, I love this crisper tray because it allows for better air flow which means your chicken bites will turn out more crispy than in a normal pan!

Enjoy!

Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Bites

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breast

    1/4 cup egg white

    1 tbsp milk

    1/4 cup all purpose flour

    1/4 cup wheat bran

    1/2 tsp buffalo seasoning

    2 tbsp whipped butter

    1/4 cup buffalo sauce

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl mix together the flour, seasoning, bessties bread crumbs and buffalo seasoning.

  2. In another small bowl, pour in the buffalo hot sauce and melted butter. Whisk to combine.

  3. Trim chicken and cut into 1-in, nugget sized pieces.

  4. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg white and milk, then into the flour mixture.

  5. Place the coated chicken onto a baking sheet and brush with the butter/buffalo sauce mixture.

  6. Preheat air fryer to 390 F for 3 mins. Cook for ~10-15 mins or until chicken is cooked through. Halfway through, shake the basket to flip chicken.
