Easter Egg Yogurt Breakfast Pops



I was feeling festive so I decided to do some digging on Pinterest for Easter inspiration! Someone had made easter egg yogurt pops so I decided to add some fruit and high fiber cereal and turn these into a full blown breakfast (or snack!)

There are lots of reasons why I love these:

  1. They don’t require any cooking! Just mixing ingredients together.

  2. You can really personalize them:

    1. You can use a high protein Icelandic yogurt like I did (Siggi’s is my go-to!) or you can use Greek yogurt, Dairy-Free yogurt, etc.

    2. You can use any fruit that you like or have on hand. You can even use frozen fruit (thawed) like I did!

    3. You can add granola, high fiber cereals or nuts if you’d like (or skip it all together).

  3. They’re so festive. I found this fun silicone easter egg mold from Michael’s but you can really use any mold (These are cute!). I love Silicone molds because nothing sticks to them and you can use them to make ice too. (Have you seen my recipe for PB2 Chocolate Cups?)

To get the fun pastel colors, I used the Siggi’s Mixed Berry Acai flavor which is already pink and then used the Vanilla flavor and colored it using the Color Kitchen natural food colors. I LOVE this brand because they’re colored using all natural colors such as turmeric, spirulina, annatto and beet powder– so great for kids too! They also make sprinkles which I love adding to my pancakes because they’re just so cute.

Anyway, I think you guys will LOVE how easy and delicious this recipe is. I would have a few of these as breakfast or as a snack.

One pop is just 32 calories and completely guilt-free!

Easter Egg Yogurt Breakfast Pops

Serves: 12


  • 1 (5.3 oz) Container Siggi’s Icelandic Style Skyr Non-fat Yogurt Vanilla

  • 1 (5.3 oz) Container Siggi’s Icelandic Style Skyr Non-fat Yogurt Mixed Berries & Acai

  • Color Kitchen Yellow & Green Natural Food Coloring

  • 1/4 cup Raspberries

  • 1/4 cup Blueberries

  • 1/4 cup Blackberries

  • 1/2 cup High Fiber Cereal


  1. If desired, start by coloring your yogurt into the colors of your choice. For this recipe, I left the Mixed Berry and Acai as is because it’s already pink and split the vanilla yogurt into two separate bowls and colored each with yellow and green natural food color.

  2. Place a small spoon of yogurt in each egg of your silicone mold. You’ll want to fill the egg about 1/3rd. I made 4 eggs for each color.

  3. Layer fruit of choice over the yogurt layer.

  4. Sprinkle cereal over the fruit.

  5. Place one lollipop stick in each egg, pushing it down below the yogurt.

  6. Fill each egg to the top with more yogurt so that it covers the fruit, cereal and lolly pop stick.

  7. Transfer mold to the freezer for ~3 hours (or overnight if desired), until the eggs are solid.

  8. When eggs are frozen, remove them from the molds and allow them to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften. Then serve!

  9. Store extra yogurt pops in a freezer tight tupperware or ziploc bag until ready to eat!
