frequently asked questions

Yes, you can do this if you’re vegan and, no, you don’t need to cut out any foods

+ IS THIS A DIET PROGRAM WHERE I NEED TO RELIGIOUSLY COUNT CALORIES?

While this program is geared towards weight management, there’s also a very big component around mindset and relationship to food. While you will be food journaling using the method of your choice, there will be a period where you will be tracking your calories and macronutrients so that we can get an idea of where you’re starting and what we need to fix. Once we have a good idea of what your diet looks like, I will then suggest you start transitioning away from tracking into a more intuitive way of eating. If you’ve been on programs where you’ve had a very rigid calorie goal, this will feel very different. The goal for me is to help you learn what your body needs. For example, how much protein do you need at lunch to help stave off sugar cravings in the afternoon? Are you going TOO light on breakfast and then barely making it to lunch? What time of day does it make sense for you to snack? By having some data, we can then figure out where we need to fix things!

+ Where does the program take place?

Online! You will have access to a portal with tons of resources. Communication will be through the portal and a private Facebook group (you can join even if you don’t have Facebook).

+ HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN I EXPECT TO LOSE?

This totally depends on how much weight you have to lose (of course, if you’re looking to lose 50+ lbs, the weight is going to come off faster!). That said, once you get situated and are on track, you can expect to lose 1-2 lbs per week. This program is designed to be sustainable so we keep the calories as high as possible while losing weight.

Besides weight loss, though, you’ll walk away with immense benefits. You’ll improve your relationship with food. You’ll stop obsessing over everything you do or don’t eat. You’ll find the balance you deserve to enjoy all your favorite foods while also reaching your goals. And , even if you don’t lose the weight you initially intended to, you’ll walk out feeling 100 pounds lighter.

+ WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE THE LIVE SESSIONS?

All sessions will be recorded and sent out so you can watch them on your own time!

+ WHAT ARE THE EXERCISE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PROGRAM?

I teach you how to adjust the program based on your exercise. I focus more on nutrition and less on exercise so it’s meant to support your current exercise routine. I will give you sample workouts and suggestions of how to focus your exercise to support your goals. This program will still work without exercise, though I encourage everyone to exercise for both the mental and physical benefits!

+ CAN I DO THIS IF I’M GLUTEN FREE, VEGETARIAN, VEGAN, OR HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES?

Yes! All meals can be made vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free, or dairy free.

+ CAN I DINE OUT AND DRINK ALCOHOL ON THIS PLAN?

Absolutely. I cover this in detail in the program. This program is about navigating nutrition in REAL life. You will be given the tools you need to handle any situation.

+ WHAT FOODS WILL I HAVE TO CUT OUT?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I’m going to teach you how ALL foods can fit into your diet, even if your goal is weight loss. I use a “flexible eating” approach and the program is geared towards teaching you how to know how many calories you need to get to your goals. From there, you’ll learn how to break those calories down into macronutrients in a way that will support your goals! Restrictive diets don’t work. It’s time to learn how to eat like a normal person.

+ WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PROGRAM ENDS?

The program is designed for you to feel confident taking on the world of nutrition after the 12 weeks! You’ll be armed with essential knowledge to help you navigate all sorts of “eating scenarios,” plus loads of recipes and cheat sheets. That said, ater the 12 weeks, if you would like on-going support you will also have the option to work with me one-on-one!

+ CAN’T I GET BETTER RESULTS WITH 1:1 COACHING RIGHT AWAY?

On average, I’ve actually seen my group program clients find even more success than my 1:1 clients, which I believe is largely due to the group accountability. With 1:1 coaching, you certainly get more solo facetime with me, but because of this, it’s also more costly.

This program is designed to give you access to me and customized accountability, plus the support of a community with shared goals. I do regular check-ins with each member of the program to make sure you’re on track with your goals.

That said, if 1:1 coaching is more your thing because you want that extra accountability or if you have specific health issues that would prevent you from taking this group program, I invite you to apply for my 1:1 services!

+ WHAT IF I NEED MORE HELP?

While our group coaching program is designed to offer hybrid group and 1:1 support, we realize that some people benefit from a little more accountability, especially if you have a more complex nutrition story. If this is you, you are welcome to book add-on calls with Paige!

Whether you could use a little motivation or need to work through a specific nutrition-related issue, this is for you! You’ll get hyper-targeted feedback and personalized guidance from an RD for a fraction of the cost of our typical 1:1 program. Having a hard time self-motivating? Struggling to hit your protein goals? Not sure how to break a bad habit? You can book a 1-on-1 call with us and we’ll help you work through anything you’re struggling with.

Cost: $225 per 45 minute call

+ CAN I USE MY FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT (FSA) BENEFITS?

Yes! You can use your flexible spending benefits toward nutrition coaching. We can provide you with an itemized receipt for your records.

+ DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
