Superfood Green Detox Smoothie

I call this my “Monday Morning Smoothie” Why?

  1. It doesn’t contain alcohol, and on Monday mornings, after imbibing over the weekend, that’s key

  2. It has lots of greens that are packed with phytonutrients that will hopefully help balance out all the tacos I may have eaten

  3. It’s full of anti-inflammatory ingredients (hey, ginger!) which will help me fight the bloat that Monday mornings inevitably bring with them

  4. It looks healthy but tastes delicious and is the perfect way to start the week off on the right foot!

Why a green smoothie and not a green juice?

Because I want to reap all the benefits of the fiber from my fruits and veggies!

When you juice fruits and veggies, you’re pulling out all of the liquid but you’re leaving the pulp. The pulp is the good stuff! The pulp is the fiber! The fiber helps to stabilize your blood sugar so this green drink isn’t hitting your blood stream like a bag of skittles. Ya got me?

Anyway, try this out on Monday morning for an instant mood boost and a great kick in the booty!
